Speculative Scores

Speculative Scores in this form has been taken as one of the resources for the production of a text-sound composition by John Drever and Lawrence Upton which -- volcanoes, health etc permitting -- will be premiered at e-poetry 2011 in USA in May 2011. See below

We have now made  a range of book works, some as prototypes and maquettes

Here are some snapshots taken in the last quarter of 2010. Please understand that they were just taken to provide a sketchy record of what we were up to

Two have been editioned:

foreshore: a 35 page concertina book of polychrome images

engine / house: a three-dimensional book structure

and here are sets of curatorial photographs of them from an exhibition in Dundee

We have an exhibition of our work at UWE Bristol from 19th September to 22nd October 2011 and expect to include some or all of the above works

In January 2011, we were invited to build our bookwork version of Upton's NAMELY to be exhibited at State University of New York at Buffalo in May 2011 during May 2011. The work was completed, with a transformation of the imagery, and exhibited to some acclaim.

We have adopted Island as a general theme or label for our ongoing and future work.

September 2011 - we have added Fake to our lst of themes
